JALVAYU VIHAR SECTOR 29 FARIDABAD is managed by Jalvayu Vihar Apartment Owner’s Association (Regd.) through Management Committee elected by the Members on every financial year basis. The Management Committee (MC) is responsible for the up keep and maintenance of the JVV complex in close association and interaction with the members.
JVV was constructed by Air Force Naval Housing Board, New Delhi, in the year 1995 and the possession of the flats was given to respective allottees w.e.f. 1996 which was concluded in 1997. JVV has 121 flats in A, B & C categories ( A type 71, B type 20 and C type 30) and has 15 blocks. The surface area of the JVV is approximately 4 acres. JVV has a power backup for lighting common areas. Further, JVV has a community centre for the welfare activities of the members. JVV is secured through CCTV for the security and well being of its members. Additionally JVV has 8 shops, which are running for the welfare of the members.
The Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) as a Service Welfare Body, is committed to serve the housing needs of the Naval and Air Force community purely on 'No Profit No Loss' basis. This Board was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with an objective to promote housing schemes in cities all over the country as per the demand of the Naval and Air Force personnel.
The AFNHB generally constructs two categories of dwelling units, one for the officers category and the other for airmen / sailors category of Air Force and Navy. The funding for the dwelling units is through Self Financed Schemes with an approximate of 10% of the expected price of the flat being deposited at the time of registration of membership and balance in easy installments.
The Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) has constructated dwelling units in all major cities in India. Some of the important sites creted and handed over to the alloted personnel are in cities such as Delhi (Pritam Pura), NOIDA, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Meerut, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Bengaluru etc.
